700 sci or 525 camshaft

does anyone have the crane part # for 700 sci camshaft, the 525 , or the 500 EFI
Thanks Joe

The camshaft in the 700SCI is the same cam that is in the 500EFI if that helps. This according to article by Bob Teague in Power Boat mag last year.

Thanks for reply, I would of never thought that.

The 525EFI cam is a Crane 168741 that is ground with a 114 lob sep instead of the standard 112.

Like stated above, the Merc 500EFI and 700SCI use the same cams #169621: .598/.610 lift, 230/236 duration @ .050, 114 lobe.
The 525EFI uses #16-HR00004: .610/.632 lift, 236/244 duration @ .050, 114 lobe.

The 525EFI cam is generally the same as the 168741 (gen VI) or the 139741 (Mark IV) but with a 112 lobe. Great top end cams for blower or bigger naturally aspirated BBC engines.

If anyone needs cams or advise, give us a call, we have them all on the shelf and can help with any questions. -Eric
