Default BMWX5 4.6is

Anyone own one of these, or have any information/feedback ? Thinking of buying one and I do not want to make a bad decision. Also, if there is a BMW dealer that wants to give a fellow OSO member a deal give me a call !!!!!

Nice ride. I doubt if you are going to get a deal however. People are selling their places in line for this vehicle for hundreds of $$. Check it out on eBay.

Dont know if they made improvement in the 4.6 "Race model " but we were going to but a X5 4.4 and were " severly " warned against it,,do a search on the X5 and see the problems people had.

That 4.6 is supposed to be a hell of a truck though !!!

I've heard people have had problems with their X5's. For what it's worth, we've had one for a couple of years now and never had any problems with it. Perhaps we're lucky or perhaps the problems are overstated... Who knows.

I work at a BMW dealer. The 4.6 is the hot-rod version of the X-5.
We have sold two and not seen them back with any problems yet. This truck is the high performance M version of the X-5. If you can swing the bucks this thing has awesome performance for what it is. I checked with my sales dept and we cannot get another one until next year and you will probably pay sticker as this is a low production/ limited vehicle.

Good Luck,
Dave
