I think that might change some opinions a bit...

From your initial post it sounded like they were turning the actual boat into fiberglass dust!

I think a number of us figured that from the start.

My error. Sorry guys. In my haste, I forgot to put that in my post. I had several other things that Bob wanted me to do and not enough time to do them.
We did, however, give them an old hull that they tore apart to make it look like what was left over of the 380 Eagle complete with fiberglass debris and flames. I have no idea how they kept the boat from completely going up in flames. Again, Hollywood magic. I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how to do it.

I cannot believe anyone would be opposed to this. During these hard economic times this program sounds it will give performance boating some much needed exposure in the public eye. What could be wrong with that?

I wonder if the drug dealers operating the performance boat die in the explosion?

Sorry , but I don't think this is viable or valuable form of advertising.

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
Having your boat seen by 13 million people for free is not a valuable form of advertising???

That's probably why everyone has heard of Raylar.

Wink

I don't think any of those 13 million viewers will be seeing any Eliminator decals, badges, etc. and I doubt any can even identify the manufacturer or even the model of boat, so how does this qualify as valuable advertising? I sure can't figure this out, but heck thats becaue I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, EH?

I am all in for promoting our performance boating community and sport, I just don't think this type of exposure is that helpful.

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

I don't watch much T.V. but I do watch The Mentalist. The scene was
short and you could not really tell what the boat was. They did
however kill a lawyer so that was worth it I guess.

Sweet Eliminator bolster in the bottom pic. Cool scene and as stated a lawyer died. Wasn't a bad show but needs more hot chicks.
