ANother Reason to hate Bin Ladin
ABAT, Morocco - Besieged by U.S. and allied forces in December in the mountains of eastern Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden commanded his fighters to disperse across the globe to attack "American and Jewish interests," according to accounts that officials here say they have obtained from three al-Qaida operatives captured in Morocco.
The three men, citizens of Saudi Arabia, have told interrogators that they escaped Afghanistan and came to Morocco on a mission to use bomb-laden speedboats for suicide attacks on U.S. and British warships in the Strait of Gibraltar, senior Moroccan officials said. The men were captured in May in a joint Moroccan-U.S. operation.
Be wary of men in turbins wanting to pay cash for your boat!!

Was involved for a number
of years with another OSO
member on a Navy project
Testing different designs
of barriers to stop Hi
Speed boats.
The Clinton people cut
back on the project.
Then the USS Cole....
Now the project is back
on.
Lets see I remember repairing the Scarab 4 or
5 times.

Mike you did a hell of a job on the fixesssss. Boy it broke my heart seeing the scarab run 60 mph into that. It cleaned up nicely but scarab (larry smith build) sure made one hell of a boat. I have put it thru the wringer and she's still running. I have to find some of the pictures of me getting the boat mind you 38 footer all the way out of the water about 7-8 feet (whole boat) And landing on the transom and still moving 40-45 mph. Boy i miss the days when that was all I did was launch the boat leave the truck on the ramp go out and beat the **** out of it for 1 hr in the roughest water take it back in and recheck everything and do it again the next week
