New Whipple Outerlimits SV43 underway!

Thought you guys would want to see our new Outerlimits SV43 rendering. Boat is out of mold and ready for paint. Gonna be powered by 2 custom in-house 1350SCi motors.

Nice colors.

Dustin. For all the renderings and finished products I've seen, no matter which builder or painter, that is by miles the best I've seen. I've often thought about what to tell the painter if we chose to have something like that build. There is the answer. Taste and style is very subjective, that is just what I would've picked. Awsome, just friggin' awsome.

Which SAE facter is the 1350 hp meassured by? Any other specs? Cid, sc's, mpi, tbi ect?

caferacer 01-23-2012 12:59 PM

Is that the new Aronow edition???? Sorry I couldn't resist!!!! Stunning design and colors and I'm sure it will haul a$$.
Cheers

skater40 01-23-2012 01:21 PM

Dustin-nice choice. The 43 with that power should be as fast as you would want to go in a V bottom.

AB From Windsor 01-23-2012 01:28 PM

That is sharp and should really run with the 1,350's.

PARADISE ISLAND 01-23-2012 01:35 PM

Nice colors!

Appreciate the kind words of the boat rendering. Thats SAE J1349 standard. 572ci, COP, MPI/TBI combo, FOAC IC, 8.3L SC, boost control.

Sweet. 91 octane? That thing should run 158-159 mph on average, 161-162 light load. That is haulin' the mail.

Kelly O 01-23-2012 02:41 PM

Very nice. Something for the fast vee gang to cheer for.

Colors remind me a lot of a certain beak owners' who was testing the waters of change.

WildThing47 01-23-2012 02:41 PM

Gorgeous...

Sick Stinger 01-23-2012 02:45 PM

Is this an SVX or just a plain old SV

brivander 01-23-2012 02:51 PM

Look to much like the one I already own :drink:

PokerRun388 01-23-2012 02:56 PM

Hopefully it will have a Whipple Logo or two on the boat somewhere, I was a huge fan of the Whipple 33 several years ago...

Good luck with the build!...

Dan I know your boat is referred to as an SVX. But is'nt that just because it started life as a 40 GTX, and then you guys had some work done making it fully up to date? Sort of a cross between a GTX and SV. Exactly what is the diff. between the last line of GTX boats 40, 43, 51 and the SV's of now?

Yup, 91-octane, I wish I had 93 like some of you guys!

The white/silver on the front has "whipple" ghosted in. Its also in engine compartment paint, and will be in the interior a little bit.

:DWe have 95 AKI or R+M/2 (99 RON V-Power) in many marinas and 93 AKI or R+M/2 (97-98 RON) in just about all of them:coolcowboy: If you don't take our insane gas prices into account, northern europe and scandinavia is a great place for quality fuel.

TBAG 01-23-2012 03:47 PM

Very nice, love the scheme. Anxious to see the final product.

Absolutely stunning boat. Do you prefer the V over the big cat that you had. Can you mix 100LL in with your 91 octane to be on the safe side.

SLOWRIDE-388 01-23-2012 04:35 PM

Very nice. Should be a real head turner.

Bullhead 01-23-2012 05:03 PM

Typically I'm a cat guy but looking to do a little different boating then I have been. Problem with the big boat is that without a tilt trailer, I couldn't boat at my local lakes because it wouldn't fit in the gates :(

I can certainly run some 100LL, but I've got knock control tied to boost control so after a few deg's of retard, it lowers cylinder pressure by lowering boost.

Trying for Desert Storm but not gonna kill ourselves if it doesn't get done. Were building some custom pieces with our logo and stuff so its gonna take a bit longer than usual.

Coolerman 01-23-2012 05:35 PM

Looks nice Dustin. Hopefully you can bring that bad boy to the loto shootout.

Mike took me for a ride in the SL44 at LOTO this year. What a difference in the ride of his new hull design. What EFI system are you using to get knock and boost control.

After you sweep the floors, make sure you tell them make it so the hatch stays down. LOL :drink::drink:

It does not look anything like the SL44 in LOTO.

43sv 01-23-2012 09:51 PM

Looks good Dustin. Like design but maybe different color,I just don't like so much red. If you go to Loto then I have to stay home. Good luck with project you have waited a long time. Call me have some neat ideas before you finish.

Should be 155-165ish but in general, I'm going after incredible acceleration so the motors are setup for more boost down low to get some extra torque out of them.
