New Whipple Outerlimits SV43 underway!
Thought you guys would want to see our new Outerlimits SV43 rendering. Boat is out of mold and ready for paint. Gonna be powered by 2 custom in-house 1350SCi motors.

Nice colors.

Dustin. For all the renderings and finished products I've seen, no matter which builder or painter, that is by miles the best I've seen. I've often thought about what to tell the painter if we chose to have something like that build. There is the answer. Taste and style is very subjective, that is just what I would've picked. Awsome, just friggin' awsome.
Which SAE facter is the 1350 hp meassured by? Any other specs? Cid, sc's, mpi, tbi ect? |
Is that the new Aronow edition???? Sorry I couldn't resist!!!! Stunning design and colors and I'm sure it will haul a$$.
Cheers |
Dustin-nice choice. The 43 with that power should be as fast as you would want to go in a V bottom.
|
That is sharp and should really run with the 1,350's.
|
Nice colors!

Appreciate the kind words of the boat rendering. Thats SAE J1349 standard. 572ci, COP, MPI/TBI combo, FOAC IC, 8.3L SC, boost control.

Very nice. Something for the fast vee gang to cheer for.
Colors remind me a lot of a certain beak owners' who was testing the waters of change. |
Gorgeous...
|
Is this an SVX or just a plain old SV
|
Look to much like the one I already own :drink:

Hopefully it will have a Whipple Logo or two on the boat somewhere, I was a huge fan of the Whipple 33 several years ago...
Good luck with the build!... |

Sweet. 91 octane? That thing should run 158-159 mph on average, 161-162 light load. That is haulin' the mail.

Absolutely stunning boat. Do you prefer the V over the big cat that you had. Can you mix 100LL in with your 91 octane to be on the safe side.
I can certainly run some 100LL, but I've got knock control tied to boost control so after a few deg's of retard, it lowers cylinder pressure by lowering boost. |

Typically I'm a cat guy but looking to do a little different boating then I have been. Problem with the big boat is that without a tilt trailer, I couldn't boat at my local lakes because it wouldn't fit in the gates :(

Mike took me for a ride in the SL44 at LOTO this year. What a difference in the ride of his new hull design. What EFI system are you using to get knock and boost control.
|
Beautiful boat... looks a bit like the 44 SL at LOTO. Best of luck with it!

Looks good Dustin. Like design but maybe different color,I just don't like so much red. If you go to Loto then I have to stay home. Good luck with project you have waited a long time. Call me have some neat ideas before you finish.
|
Dustin, looks great!
