wondering if cmi headers off 496 ho will fit on a 525sc motor and will 525sc's fit in a 36 outlaw compartment with hatched closed thanks

A stock 496 manifold will fit on a older mag merc engine then i would say that the 496 headers will fit a 525 SC..if the 496's are still in the boat i would have someone lock you in the bilge with a tape measure and measure from the center of the crankshaft bolt to the bottom of the hatch and then measure the center of the crankshaft to the air cleaner of the 525 SC..

Yes I have a 36 outlaw with 525sc's from the factory. they fit just fine. However I have a deep x-dim meaning the engines are low in the boat as I have a 1998. I'm about 2" deeper then a 1999.
