Don't get me wrong, I know it's a big lake, but isn't it still overkill?

As far as pleasure boats go I think the largest one I have seen was 120' (i think) , the story was it was the owner of Bally's fittness . It had jet drives and rumour has it that it runs 50mph.
There are s%$tloads of 60 ft plus , Sunseekers, SeaRays, Azimuts you name it. Everyone must be rich except for me !!

The problem was that it would have to conform to current commercial vessel codes. After the fire damage and sinking, I think he decided it was not worth the money and effort.
It's stiil in the BWJ cove if you're interested.

Gary,
Does it float? What burnt? The Tug Boat?
If you used it for personal use instead of commerical would it still have to meet the Commerical Codes?
Where did that barge (ferry) and tug come from? How did they get it to the lake? Wait, wasn't it a couple or 3 or 4 small barges connected together?

It's floating now. It was the ferry boat with a single diesel engine. Not sure on the condition of any of it though.
I doubt you need anything other than life jackets, horn, registration, and lights for a personal boat.
If you're really interested in buying it, I can Email the owners phone number to you.
