Performance Center Console Help

I have a friend looking for a performance center console. Approximately 38 ft, triple outboards. He's a fishing guy and knows nothing out the performance world. I told him about a few, Nortech, etc. I know there are many threads on this topic but cannot find one list of all of them that I can show him. Would someone please list them so I can easily show him the manufacturers in one place and fink links to their site & pics to show him.
Thanks

I am in the same "boat". I want a CC. I am talking to Nor tech and Deep Impact.

I want
Ability to handle big waves
75mph
tough and durable
air conditioned cabin for the kids (going 12v system so no gen)
flat screen tv in mid cabin
head
ability to go on poker runs and catch a few fish
ability to put on a trailer and pull it to florida
big stereo
enough room to party
my boats are "taxis" we leave our home/dock and go to restaurants/bars on the lake, do our thing, then come back to the house.
really it's just a kick ass looking pontoon.

my cruiser is a waste because we don't sleep on it and it is sooo f**&ing slow!
I don't want a inboard performance boat because of all the BS associated with them

I am in Love with the performance CCs!

We are currently finishing up a 38 twin step CC with triple 300 Verados at Outerlimits. I will post pictures when complete.

Well, that only took 8 years. LOL!

Not a single person said Cigarette? They started this craze.

Saw the new Top Gun Open in Key West. It is sick. You get the 39 Top Gun Unlimited performance Hull with and open deck.

39 Top Fish Tripple or Quads
39 Top Fish Open Tripple or Quads
39 Top Gun Open Twin or Tripple

The boats are gorgeous and they have their reputation for a reason.

Not sure where you are located, but Deep Impact will be at the Saint Louis. MO show Feb 8-12. Then Miami would be a good place to do some research.

ActiveFun 01-30-2012 08:38 AM

Thanks guys. Simple list is:
Nortech

Midnight Express

Not really interested in Donzi or Fountain

Cigarette 39 Top Gun Open and the 39 Top Fish.:eekdrop:

If money is no object, for me it would either be a 39 Nor-Tech or Cigarette.
I think the Deep Impact are also very nice boats, extremely well built but I prefer the styling of the others.

On a tighter budget, you can't beat some of the deals on the 38 Donzi's. The ZFX has a pretty sweet front lounge layout.

I might be bias but Call Terry Sobo at Nor-tech and your search is over. I checked out the new Cig Top Gun very nice but the narrow beam was a turn off IMO.

I can see how the narrow beam of the Top Gun Open would turn some off but the 10' of the Top Fish gets you all that room back.

I'm curious, why did you buy a NT over a Cig Top Fish?

Good question.. There are quite a few reasons why we went with the Nor-Tech over the Cig. The biggest being the seating on the Nor-Tech fits my lifestyle better. We like to do fun/poker runs and with the Nor-Tech we can have three people bolstered behind the helm as well as 3 people directly behind bolstered in a second row of seats no one flopping around the back or front of the boat. I also think the layout of the center console area of the Nor-tech is nicer than the Cig. I am sure the customer service at cigerette is great but i can tell you that the customer service at Nor-Tech is second to none. From Trond & Niles to Terry Sobo , Roy Frank and all the people at Nor-tech they have become family to us . I also believe (dont quote me on this) that you can get into a Nor-Tech with less coin.

Alpha Tango 01-30-2012 02:11 PM

IMO if you pay attention to the details the Cigarette Top Fish is the pick. I looked seriously at the Nor-tech before purchasing my Top Fish. If there is a difference in cost is made up in the finished product. From rigging to upholstery the Cigarette was for me a better choice. Regarding service, this is my 2nd boat (first was a 40 ft MTI) that I have purchased from David and Cary ( Pier 57 ). They have not only met my expectations but exceeded them and continue to do so. Skip and Hector at Cigarette work just as hard in after the sale customer satisfaction as they did in the sales process.

Your Top fish is a awesome boat and i have heard nothing but good about Pier 57 BUT we could have a great debate all day long about which boat has better rigging and upholstery. Btw did you get the heavy duty lower units on your T Fish ?

Considered the HD lowers, just didn' see the need. If you make it to Miami Boat Show Poker Run I'll buy you a few and let's debate. Lol:daz:
Will agree with you on Terry Sobo, a really great guy.

Thanks Brooks , heading down next week for some Nor-Tech fun.

Great boat but not super fast i would hate to see the gph at wot with those 350's. More fish than performance.

the 368 with trip 350's is ridiculous. fit and finish second to none, rigging is flawless, workmanship is magnificent and the performance is over the top.
