polk audio mm651um series are pretty reasonable in price.

I have the Kicker Marine. They are good, reasonably priced and look cool.

I have Polk as well. Sound real good. I foget wihcih model they are but I got them at BestBuy. They are not sold as marine speakers but if you read the box closely they are marine certified. Best of all they are black.

I had fosgate in my last boat work great besides for the price keep a spare. polk in present boat feel the same way about them. good luck

What are you looking at getting? the Kicker stuff looks to be $60 a pair for co ax.

I'm looking to spend 100-130 a pair on some decent 6.5's

My buddy has all Kicker in his boat and Ummmm its LOUD and clear. I know this dioesnt answer your question but I think you would be happy w kicker marine. PM irishtornado

I would go with JL Audio, I run JL in my boat and it ROCKS... I use two sets 7.7" components and two tens powered by JL digital amps which draw next to no power. Alpine deck of course so you have the 4V pre-outs
