Default cigarette 28 or magnum 27 sedan

have an opportunity to purchase either vessel as a project. Does one ride/handle or is better built than the other? My plans are just cruising around and hitting the beaches. Have two kids, so I was leaning more to the mag sedan, a little more headroom in the cabin.

Both are great boats. I would look at the one that requires less work. You can put a lot of $ in one of the old boats and not get crap out of it when it comes time to sell.

Hands down you should do the Magnum...... and tell me where the CIG 28 is.. :-)

LOL

Seriously, either one will be something to be proud to own so you can't do wrong with your decision.

BUT, if you do decide to pass on the 28, please do shoot me the info as I may be interested. Been looking for the right deal on a solid CIG 28.

Cheers,

Dave

I like the looks of the 28' SS better than a Magnum Sedan, my father had a 27' Magnum Sport for many years. I would think the ride would be almost the same. Buy what you like.

I like the Cigarette (I think it looks better than the Sedan) if those are the only two options, 1 foot longer is not a big deal, but the a 28' Cigarette and a 27' Magnum Sport are my two favorites, and I think but I could be wrong but that the bottoms are almost identical.

I have never ridden in the 27' Sedan but have been in a 28' Cigarette abd the 27' Magnum Sport.

I'd buy your Apache hands down over the other two choices, & I've had a 100% redone 28 Cigarette before.
