Would that be called a "tall" block?
All that HP is gonna be necessary because 3' of engine is sticking out of the hatch creating wind drag.

How could it NOT help. The leading edge was 3/32 wide and flat.
Different days, same conditions. If anything the weather was warmer. Less fuel which doesn't seem to matter. Full of people and fuel 102.5. Empty 102.5. 3 years running, everytime out.

Lookers always ask, "how fast is it?".
I say "102.5MPH".
They ask "when and where do you do that".
"Every time out". Duh!

I started with a file, switched to a block sander, and ended with a blister. The leading edge looked like a Hering prop's.
Next time I'll lay the drive down and sand the whole thing.
