Reminds me of a Ferrari on the water....

A black bilge? To hide the oil no doubt............

Bilge looks really cramped for a single engine 28ft boat........... I can't remember the last time I saw a trim pump so close to the engine. I don't mean to toot my own horn so much, but I can actually sit down on the floor of the bilge in front of my twin 502's. Is there a transmission in there?

I thought this boat ran 90 with a 525? Looks like a 600sc to me.

The helm is poorly styled and looks like it was pulled right off an arcade machine. Good thing they used a big screen, I doubt they could of ever fit all the gauges on there without it. Looks damn near impossible to add anything else. As it is, it appears your going to have to look around the steering wheel to see two of the gauges.

:hitfan: Isn't there a "stirring the pot smiley"? I can't find it. LOL

Here's a dyno graph of 2 brand new motors. One being the 525, other being the 600sci. The only change to either is the rev limit is changed to 5850. Stock everything else.

can you pull a graph on 525 vs ilmor 650?

thanks

Texoma, Enjoy what you have & don't b!tch about you'll never have. It just makes no sense. Is OL going to hire you to design their next boat? Nope. Will they change what they have already built based on your critiques? Nope.

So he's not entitled to an opinion? So are we suppose to like every single boat from every single manufacturer? If we don't we're not allowed to voice an opinion? Or is everyone suppose to love this boat because it's an OL? If this was in the OL forum I agree leave it alone but it's in general. I have stated my opinion on it as well but I "sugar-coated" mine a bit more. Tex may come off a little strong but he's brought up some good points.

The windscreen reminds me of a Nordic... Over all great looking boat and would love to see one race SVL in the near future.

I've never run an Ilmor 650.

That is the best looking single V period. I would love to own one and think that they built the boat most single engine guys always wanted to see built.
