Thank you and thanks to the other guys that defended my criticism. I'm relatively young compared to a lot of the guys here. So maybe its a generational thing, but my generation expects more.
I would like to see OL make a 28 hull design that does it all including, but not limited to: 1) I'd like to see a cabin that is big enough for AC and portapotty and can sit 3-4 people. 2) I'd like to see a 28 hull design that is deep enough to be used in a sit down configuration or a stand up - whatever the customer wants. The option of drop down bolsters for the back seats would be nice because you could stand more people. 3) I'd like to see a 28 hull design capable of twin big blocks or single. 4) I'd like to see a 28 hull design capable of having an extended cockpit and carry up to 3 OB's. With any luck maybe have a spot for a generator to power the AC. 5) I'd like to see a 28 hull design with two different decks - one windshield, one with a fairing. For the obvious reason that no windshields are allowed on the race course. 6) I'd like to see a 28 hull design that can be an open center console or cabin boat. |

Just wanted to keep you guys up to date, the boat ran 96.7mph today, still on the limiter. New prop coming, expecting to see triple digits very soon :)

Looking forward to final numbers! It apears you'll break 100, which is insane given the power! It would be interesting to see what it will top out at with stock 525 power as well. Not to mention I'd love to see it hit 110 with a stock 725/Indy package! |
Nice job OL with the 29. I think it fits a specific market and will do well. I saw it at the factory and "liked" it but now that its finished, i am really impressed with it. it's not for everyone, but it will be great for those that want an entry level "very" fast toy.
I am looking forward to my first ride in it as I have heard it tracks very well. Keep the new products coming!! Also... i just put the Raymarine E7 in one of my boats... great choice!! |

Lol I know! The 29 just ran 101 mph and on the limiter with the new larger prop. Now changing the gear ratio, as mercury does not make anything bigger. Should be interesting.
