Meanwhile: I ran into Chris Dilling of Grafik EFX at the Miami show, and he told me that the shiek is putting together a complete program for the US and another one for overseas. Each fleet has a boat, boat trailer, 53' support trailer, tractors and a pair of F-650's, all painted to match, but in separate schemes for the two operations. Chris said that he had "a big crew" working for 60 days to complete the paintwork on the first package. Sounds like a big-time program, for sure. At the very least, the GEICO crew will get a strong benchmark to measure themselves against.

I'm guessing that using a shiek as a benchmark of your success typically won't result in an ego boost......

What class John?

I've only seen one boat consistently with popcorn entrants in the last 5 years. Did I miss something?

Trust me STEVE CURTIS doesnt need T55's as an advantage. In the best test of offshore racing skill
( rough water) , In 2007 in Orange Beach ,Steve and Tom in the Reliable carrier boat "smoked "the ENTIRE field including Geico with 3000+hp and a bigger boat.....all with 750hp motors in a SUPERCAT boat. The plan was to use t53s to race.
Unlimitted Budget and some of the best talent in the business...should make for some interesting racing....

Well put Dave...
