Anyone know were some of the old FB design boats are?
I was wondering were the old FB designed boats are. Like the ones that Nemshoffe used to drive in A-class back in 99. Those were really cool looking boats and narrow as all get out. Man did they run fast!!!! They laped us in NH. I just think it is odd that they seem to have dropped off the face of the plannet as far as racing is concerned.

the Extinguisher is for sale over on the Gulf Coast site...very fast... |
There is a similar looking one for sale in Marathon, it's been sitting there for a couple of years, on the north side of Overseas Hwy, just east of the 7 mile bridge. It's red/yellow/orange.

There's one sitting at Dick Simon's or what ever it's call now.
If I had the room and the extra cash ........ http://www.dicksimonmarine.com/listi...41&category=39 |
Now looking to buy anything right now, I just know those boats RIPPED it up big time and wondered why they kind of fell off the face of the earth seemingly. Good to know there are still a few around. Those Trimax set ups are so cool looking. Did they all come through as diesles or were some of them gas???

The boat in Marathon was not an FB it is a Harry Scholl Infinity with a PSI drive. Nemschoff's boat is now Extinguisher it is a real FB built in Italy, Trimax drive, ect. When the Nemschoffs had it it was Sterling powered it now has a Performance Marine or MRD motor in it I am not sure? Fountaion built two of these boats as far as I know but the never seemed to perform as well as the Nemschoffs boat. The two of theses boats were the one at Dick Simon and Eric Treadwell had one that I heard he gave back to the factory.

i used to own one and sold it because of the service drive. you know apba is bravo only. and the p class would not be worth the time.

The boat in the Dick Simon listing is listed at 32'
Is that 32' to where the tabs are mounted or to the end where the rudder box is? I was thinking it would be to the rudder, because I thought this model was built for A-Class and they were limited to 30' with most being 28'ers. With that logic, it would be less than 30' at the tabs. Just curious  |
Cig one I do not know the answer to your question but I do know that they ran A-class when they were raced. They are like a skate board with a big motor on them :D:D

I thought that any drive was legal in svl single and twin. Does anyone know for sure?
