throw a new bilge pump in while the engine is out. It's a whole lot easier now, and cheap while you are at it.

As far as I know, the 6.2's don't have a engine oil cooler. Unfortunate, since they also only have a 4.5 quart oil pan.

Thats what I thought when I did some research after I shredded a water impeller. Was discussing some maintenance with my shop and came to a little disagreement about whether or not it existed. Just wanted to confirm that I am right. :thankyouthankyou:
If your shop insists that your 6.2 has an oil cooler ask them to point it out to you. They'll probably point at the power steering cooler. LOL. |
They weren't insisting. We were just discussing it before they had even looked at it.

Are there any after market oil cooler solutions or bigger pan I could put on while I'm at it? |

Ya no crap, tell me about it. I thought this was a minor leak two years ago when I took it in and the shop told me I was 2qts low, which I thought, "well it could be worse" then they told me it was only a 4.5qt system.... :eekdrop:
