Whipples 850SCi and 1075SCi Stage 3 System
 
Whipple is proud to announce the release of the powerful Stage 3 system for all Mercury Racing 850SCi, 1025SCi, 1075SCi and 1200SCi engines.

Wouldn't you like to have the race gas 1200SCi power but run 91-octane? Well Whipple not only gives you that, how about 1225HP on 91 octane?

Systems include the new robust, race inspired 2.9L twin-screw superchargers with all new revolutionary rotor profile for maximum efficiency. System also boast a race proven belt system upgrade that includes a billet front idler system, billet tensioner and fully adjustable idlers for proper belt adjustment.

While the larger dual superchargers show significant gains in efficiency, the Whipple SC's also feature a billet adapter manifold for lightweight but bulletproof operation. This allows the dual SC's to bolt directly into the factory location for a very easy installation.

To help maximize the potential of the larger compressors, the Stage 3 system comes with a new camshaft that helps the motor make more torque and HP, while maintaining incredible reliability.

While the bigger SC helps cool the air charge significantly, the larger SC pulleys help reduce belt slip and belt related issues, and the race proven belt system eliminates the common belt issues, the true heart and soul of the system is exclusive Whipple Reflash of the factory PCM. Whipple is the pioneer of recalibration offerings for Mercury PCM555 systems and continues to set new standards in power gains and reliability. The new calibration offers a higher RPM limit for better propping range while also reconfiguring the fuel and spark tables to keep the transom clean, increase fuel and combustion efficiency and maximize power levels.

Applications also available in "race gas" form for an incredible 1400HP!!

Congrats Dustin, that's awesome. So, with the cam, blower and pcm changes you can make over 1200 from the 850?
If so, talk about an upgrade.

We have already done 2 850 Whipple 2.9 upgrades, very nice package very complete much better belt system.
On our dyno in complete marine dress including trans they made 1365 hp on 110 oct 1220 on 93.
The new 525 kit that retains all the stock EFI components is a fantastic set up, great idle all the stock protection, 800 hp and cheaper price than the mefi 4 conversion. We did the first pair, put them in a 38 Donzi ZX and on the second test ride did the Key West poker run there and back with no trouble at all. Hard to compete with the Whipple supercharger package.

Just Curious? Does this upgrade come with your factory (THE CUSTOMERS THE GUINEA PIG) calibration and belt upgrade? Or when it breaks will it be your factory statement "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED" excuse?
I think if you were upgrading the factory package you would also include a cylinder head change along with the cam change since the Brodix -5 heads are way outdated.
I think I would trust Mark at Precisions cal long before I would trust yours, that is unless Mark has tuned your upgrades?
