OT: Look what I saw today!
 

Front row seat on the water! This flew directly over me and it was absolutely incredible! These things really look like they should not be flying!!!

Did I mention I had a front row seat??? :D

We saw the bomber but arrived to late to the air show so I didn't get a pic...watching the stealth bomber is eerie...it looks fake but there it was..the damn thing was cruising along....Hard to explain unless you have seen one flying up close...

I'm envious...Our "front-row-seat" airshow got cancelled this year because Mcdill Air Base in Tampa is the National Command Center. :cool:

That show was at the Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA this past weekend. A few of the HRPA members were there also and there should be some additional pics posted soon.

I am definately going to the Langley AFB show next year. That looks awesome. It sure beats sitting off the end of the runway of National Airport!!

Great time on the water Saturday at the air-show. What a surprise to see you and your family again Larry this far south from Richmond...

FYI in the future...
You can anchor pretty much just off the runway in the Back River on the Hampton side of the peninsula. There's also a great little finger of beach that's a good vantage point as well slightly back away a bit. There's usually a lot more boats out for this event but the 4-5's on the bay Saturday kept a lot of folks at home. Sunday the bay was like glass (figures) and probably had a larger crowd there, but we all stayed south and BBQ'd on the beach...

See ya on the river soon Larry as we might run up to Jamestown beach for the day on Saturday. You should grab cignificant and run down to meet us...
