The only think missing from that ad was "Hi. I'm President Obama, and I approve this message."

That and they forgot to add "back up like chit! steer like chit! ride like chit! water over the bow like chit!"
You can pack them full of girls and put a stripper pole on them though... :angry-smiley-038:

LOL. True on all accounts. Girls and stripper poles?...that's what Sea Rays are for. To heck with Malibus! :D

V-drives and out drives each have their place. I enjoy my Barron Sprint flat bottom V-drive, but only on a lake that is like glass or very little chop. It is fun and handles well, I am building a 1000hp blown alcohol engine for it to go K racing.

Outdrives are definitely more versatile and I enjoy my Hallett and the Fountain before it, with outdrives. Good for ocean, and rough water, just a different kind of boating.

That video was clearly very biased and inaccurate.

That sounds like fun!

That is the nice thing about those Casale type V-drives - you can put whatever power you want in the boat, and not worry about the drive blowing up.

You got it wrong, just rip the drives off and install V-drives. Think how that thing would handle ripping along at 45 mph!

What I found more interesting, is that my wife would be better looking and thinner if I change to a v-drive, and my kids will be happier. Never thought of that.

does this outdrive make my a$$ look big?

I'm with the poster that mentioned the swift turning ability of the V-drive. WTF. Waverunner with seats!!!!

Com'on. This has to be a SAT. (stupid azz thread)
Last time I checked, this site was: OFFSHORE ONLY

Please keep the TLS to the Boating.com site.

If this thread is so bad, why would you read it and take the time to put your $0.000000000002 in? Other people are enjoying it, even if you aren't. Just move on.

Thankfully, the offshore community did not elect you, with your "look down your nose" attitude, as ambassador. Unbelievable.
