I heard there was some sea cow sightings in Idaho too! Now they have to stop growing potatoes.

Saw a show on TV last night that was about the Everglades. It had a segment on the manatee and stated that a radio collard manatee went all the way to R.I. for the summer . That's not good. So are we going to have no wake zones all the way up the east coast?

Some squirle hugger probably put a Rosie O'Donnel blow up doll in the river just to screw things up. I lived in Ft Myers FL and hated the miles of idle zones to keep these sea slugs safe. I can see it now the James will be an idle zone from Richmond to Williamsburg. All this to save something that should be extinct.

That little bastard really got lost...

See, they're just so overpopulated down here that they're moving north.

Will one of you Richmond boaters please go run that thing over, and get rid of the hooplah!? Next thing you know they will be spotted at Pax Naval Air station, and before you know it, ABOVE the falls on the Potomac!!!

Not more gov't BS in VA, no way, couldn't happen.

I can see it now, "Manatee Spotted In Norfolk Naval Ship Yard!".
Then the SMC will try to have the big carriers and subs banned from the area. Good luck!

A manatee was spotted near Houston several years ago, near a power plant also one that kept going to the Chesepeake Bay and they named her Chessie. Some poor smuck kept bringing her back to FL.
