Mcguards! Junk!
They work fine to keep the honest people honest!
They can be turned off with a screwdriver! Done it three times.
Used to have the McGuard Drive locks as well. Once down in Havasu needed to pull a drive and did not have the locks, were in my truck and took a different one down.
Went to the shelf, picked up a lock out of the package and went and removed the nuts!

I just got off the phone with Brett @ BBlades, having a pair of these shipped with my props coming back! Look a lot better design then the Mcgaurds! We will see :)

Not really insurance. If you are scared the take them with you when you leave.

I took mine off after every run regardless if it was at the marina or at my house. Never any question about them growing legs, too expensive to screw around with IMO.

All the locks are like previously stated, good enough to keep the honest people honest.

I had a Baja that I made the mistake of putting in storage a few years back. I had the drive locks on it, prop lock on it, and it was parked right next to the marina office under a light.

Someone decided it was just easier to take everything, bell housing, trim rams, drive, prop, all at one shot.
