My point behind all this madness is to give power boaters an engine package that is something that can be more affordable, reliabe, different and better fuel economy....i think im safe to say that its a reality now....im not 100% sure what a big block would cost with roughly 1000hp but I do have a pretty good idea myself... obviously its not for everyone and I completely understand that, but I will keep pushing at it...

Brendan

6 cyl what?

Steve 1 03-07-2012 10:55 PM

Another thing is the Weight, I spent the better part of my career chasing Grams, through engineering and building techniques to minimize the infestation, because every one of those little bastards consumes energy, Valuable energy, Sure weight can be overcome with Horsepower BUT the damage is done, The deeper water profile from the running surface is there And is not going away, everything is affected from the righting moment on down.
Now these Turbo 6 cylinder engines are giving me some thought, not only do they have perfect balance on the primary and secondary side, but they are Light and make really good power, Who could ask for more? BTW Keep up the good work!

It is nice to see someone running E85. That gas has started a revolution in the street car horsepower wars.

Really cool package, I like, thanks for posting the video. I like out-of-the box thinking when people put together hot-rods, and that is one very bad 6-cylinder.

@BUIZILLA..... Its a 3.0L Inline 6 cylinder turbocharged engine..

@Steve 1.... As I stated in some of my other post...1 thing my Eliminator has never done, or in comparison to any other make catamaran is porpoise....Not once since this boat has been in the water has it porpoised on mee...I really think I got lucky with the overall weight balance of the hole package...and when this boat would most likely porpoise with a big block...with my engine weight, it goes right past that point smoothly...Thanks for the support also...be sure to stay tuned...my next vid will have a top speed video and maybe some extra chicks!! LOL!! :evilb:

@Warp 1.... E85 has been a blessing for the high performance car world....All my customers drag cars and street cars have made the switch...with 5 gallons of C or Q16 from VP costing roughly $100...it just doesnt make sense to use it anymore...2 weeks ago when I took this video, I paid $3:10 a gallon for E85....Love it till the last drop

@Smarty....Thank You very much for the compliments!!!

@mrfixxall...Thanks for the response...

Brendan
