Buy the Garmin for WAY less....what are you trying to do, find someone who agrees with you so you can post your *****? Gaffrig is high quality equipment that costs a few more bucks, try Nordskog, probably same price range, or go to Sears and see what they have in your price range.

Youre sarcasm is wonderful Bluemoon!
What i am trying to do here is find out if there is another solution
and vent my frustration!!! I was hoping maybe something else might work? or maybe someone has one for whatever reason.
B.T.W. Tried Sears & Kmart.......No Go

Birddog,
There is a site called gpscity or gpsstore or something like that, I purchased an external ant for a Garmin 12 for $60. It seems to work just fine. If the Speedo has a place for an external ant, you could contact one of these places and see what they have. There are several types of connectors that plug into the differnet units. Not sure how the speedos are set up.. Good luck

I used a handheld Garmin GPS to feed my speedo. Some GPSs have a data output lead that will connect to the data input lead of the speedo. I can unplug my handheld GPS and use elsewhere if I want, i.e. speed check on other boats.
