I ran 78.3 last year. I did not dyno with the new heads I put on last year. I think I might be a tad over 600HP now. I propped it down a bit and spun it to 6000RPM, those little 454's were screaming! I was at an overall slip of 14%. Finishing the bottom in the next weeks and hopefully the slip will go down.

700HP maybe next year, one of my blowers should be here tomorrow.

In my past I have built some unrulely motors from spare parts. Kinda hard when you need two of everything. Next year I will build me a few 572 or 598s and see how long my TRS can handle that. Just can only do bit by bit since I am not rich.

I believe you hit the nail on the head. Fever ran 103 w/700-730 hp olds small blocks by Zul/cropper. Indigo had 700+ kurts marine small blocks w/ home made extension boxes and ran 101-103 also. 2 of the baddest offshore boats...period

Now that id what i want to hear, cool tripple digits. I belive a good stick man can keep a drive together. If one blows, there are a thousand more out there to buy. Unlike #6 are fricken gold and few and far.

My Mechanic has a 40' Activator with triple blown small blocks(434 CID, 700 HP) and TRS drives. Has run 106, but still needs more dialing in. Never had a problem with the drives. However, he is doing a bravo conversion currently.

How many of these fast TRS setups are running original x dimensions? The boats I've been around mid 70s seems to be about it for a twin engine v hull with the prop shaft 7-8 below the boat. Except, If the TBs 28 cig is the one I'm thinking of (lots of nitrous though).
