I'll give it to IMCO, they have a lot of loyal customers over the years and the look/feel of their drives are nicer than most.

When I sold my IMCO Extreme SC's a number of years ago, they sold quickly despite the issues I and others were having.

Glad to hear the SCX's are working out, that's great feedback.

I have only run them for roughly 50 hours but I have been out in some big water a few times running at a good speed. For me I did not want to have to baby the drives it would have defeated the purpose of the boat. I am going to be doing another oil change on them so stay tuned. Also for me I went Imco for the ease of putting them on and resale. I know what you mean about babying the throttles, I want a drive that I don't have to worry about when I'm out in the middle of Powell or somewhere like that. Did you get the SCXs from Imco or? Did you bolt them up to your Bravo gimbal? Mind me asking how much you paid? Thanks for the Info.

You have to change the helmet but use the same gimbal ring ,I replaced mine with new ones
I just put on scx drives. My bravos were fine but wanted the piece of mind
It cost me 33k for everything plus sold my bravos for 10k
So it's not cheap but breaking bravos isn't either
This weekend in Florida will be test
