I remember that pic, was it a Hustler / Element?

I did put the class 3 on there for a bike rack that also fits my truck. I put the boat in the back yard in the winter so I use the element to move it around.

I have to use a floor jack to put the trailer on the ball, the tongue jack doesn't go low enough. LOL!

H2 is not that bad... !!!

I had a Jeep that I used to move mine around in the garage. The short wheel base is really nice.

Towed my empty trailer once with the Jeep and that alone was enough to put the frame almost on the axles. Those Jeeps don't have a very high tongue weight rating. :D

H2 isn't that bad, look close...The lincoln in my picture is the avaitor (mid size) not the navigator.

Still, that 6.0l in your hummer must be drinking the fuel pulling a 42 tiger, that's a big boat

Tongue weight on a trailer is all dependant on the balance of the load over the wheels. If the boat is far enough back, there can be very little downward weight on the front of the trailer. I knew a guy who had an old Chris Craft that when loaded on the trailer, you could lift the front of the trailer by hand and place it on his hitch.

Still doesn't allow the vehicle to tow that weight over the road, but around a yard or storage is fine.

Saw a guy at my marina last summer show up with a 42' Outerlimits hooked up to an F-150 crew cab short bed. Said he towed it all over the country with that.... can you say lawsuit waiting to happen.
