A little story and introduction

I'll start off with my story. I lost my wallet back in August. I was out on the water and I figured it was lost forever. A couple of days ago I was contacted by someone who found my wallet washed up on the beach about 9 miles away from where I lost it. So I figure it spent about 7 months on the bottom of Lake Huron and washed up on the shore when the ice melted. I haven't seen it yet but I'm curious to see what kind of condition it's in. Anyways I thought that was kind of a funny story.

I thought I would introduce myself as well seeing as I'm new here. I live in Windsor north of the border but I spend my summers in Grand Bend on Lake Huron. I have worked at the marina there for the past 4 summers so some of you may have seen me if you've ever been to the Bend. I have an older (1987) 21' Regal, not really an offshore boat but I'm looking to upgrade soon.

Anyways enough talking for me

Welcome to the nut house. This is great site and source for info of all types, but enter with caution and thick skin. We have a large group of A type personalities that like to flex their keyboard muscles from time to time. We also have several that don't take their meds and come on here just to vent. I really enjoy the site and two of my best friends I have met on here. It really is a fun site and can be quite entertaining as well as informative so sit down ,strap in and enjoy the ride.
Funny story on the wallet. My brand new $250.00 cell phone, I'm sure, is in one of my sponsons of my cat.

Welcome Bob

Welcome to OSO Grandbender!

Great performance boaters site, infact one of the best. Nice story about your lost wallet, what are the chances of it washing up on shore? Always nice to see someone from Windsor on here.

Andy

I think that applies to about 1/3 (or more) of OSO, so don't take it personal if you're rolling in dad's boat and sharing a few of his experiences! :lolhit:
