If anyone wants to run by Marina Shores @ 4:00 friday we can motor over to LC together.

I've been know to work the weather a little here and there.
I'm trying for lower humidity. . . . .

Steve, John A. and myself will be heading over to Little Creek by boat around 3pm'ish in order to get there early and take care of last minute volunteer details. We will also have scouted out the slip/raft-up situation for all. I'm thinking you guys call me on my cell (757-615-1855) just prior to leaving the inlet and I'll give the gouge...

Bryan, maybe you should come straight to Little Creek....

Boot, sorry to hear it dude. Best of luck with it and I hope you're up and running soon...

Okay, good weather seems to be a gimmee as in sunshine for the weekend. Bill, do you have any connections with Neptune for a cooperative ocean side sea state???....

Don't forget about the MANDATORY captains meeting Friday night (8/2/02) at 7pm. Personally I think it should be moved to Saturday morning for future events that way it will better accomodate those coming from out of town (like Chesapeake, LOL).

Okay, latest scoop on slips for both Friday & Saturday night parties...

East Bay Marina (brand new marina, 757-362-5000) will have approximately 30 open slips (floating docks I think) available FREE for temporary docking during the party's on both nights. Should one need to overnight, they are offering slips for $1.25 per foot with .25c per foot being donated back to the St. Judes charity. This marina is located of course within Little Creek harbor past Bay Point & Little Creek Boatel Marina's on the right side. You'll know it by the empty slips and the recently opened Blue Crab Restaurant. It's about a quarter mile walk down Pretty Lake Ave to the party's...

Weather is looking great for the entire weekend and BTW, we'll be taking late registrations and selling additional poker hands tomorrow (Friday) night from 5-9pm at the Bay Point Marina party. We'll have live band, food, drink, and boaters covering the sailing, cruising and performance boat communities. Hope to see a bunch of you there...
