hey, JD, 1050 on a 502? We'd love to get that motor from you and show you where 50 hp went. Just kidding. I could believe the pv's were eliminated, you already had too much main jet to feed it. Once an engine comes out from under the load, like getting on plane or rolling up from 3500 rpm, the pv closes and the mains do all of the work.

DAN;

WAY TOO much carb....thats what happens when you don't tone those drag racing engine builders down a little. An 850 would have been the ticket...if I had kept the baot more than 1 season I would have made the swap. Actually, once I got through 3000 rpm the carb worked great, plugs looked good etc. The transition was a *****..around 2500 it would get lean. Go figure. Anyway with the new motor I went with race demons which were near perfect for my set up out of the box.

Yep, but just a small blower. B&M 250, 502, Carb is a single, 1050 Dom.

I wouldn't worry too much. Stock jetting on the 525SC is 125's all around, I believe.
