Electric trailer jacks, worth it?

I see pros and cons here. The hand crank is good 99% of the time. But it would be nice to hit the magic button. Is the battery a pain?

I had a hand crank on my NT 43 trailer & a buddy parked his 47 beaker in my barn next me, his power unit was slow, I would B unhooked & have'n a cold 1 while he was still "jack'n off"!!!!!:daz:

love mine wouldent be without it .i have the atwood 3500 pd unit .you dont need a battery on the trailer to power them .i have a 2002 chev p/ up and came wired from the fact as most do.all you have to do is put the fuse in the load center under the hood been doing it for 6 years now w no issues .plus less chance of being stolen as very few others can take the trailer as they have no way to power it up or down . it also has a seperate handle for emergency use that i keep in the truck

Ahh well I built one with a HYDRAULIC jack (not the screw type electric jack) and it was so fast that Tracy (Wrinkleface) would still be cranking his while i had dinner with his girl LOL
We put the pump in the storage box we mounted on the front of the trailer and was powered by both a storage battery in the box and from the truck plug hook up. It had a switch on the outside and that thing was one fast mover

Sounds like a great product..... If you are lazy!!! :D

I added a adjustable foot to my electric jack aon my car trailer to reduce the range of travel needed to lift the tongue off the ball. When I am towing I take the foot off.

I can do the whole process without setting my beer down:lolhit:

Just got one on my new manning and I love it.... I almost added the electric winch to lol... Now if I just had an auto back down truck all would be good.
