Funny stuff; as usual from Marc. I remember him telling that story, doubled over from laughter myself.

Sounds like it was a horrific accident and I was extremely sad to hear of it.

I talked with Monica this afternoon before she and Marc's father headed over to the funeral home. she seems to be doing ok and has lots of support from friends and family as well as from the church they attended. the boys are having a tougher time with it right now, they are still a little young to know how to react to something like this.

My son is in 5th grade with Marc's son Nick. I would hang out with him at BBall games while our boys played. He was one of a kind! The church and school are very supportive and we are all doing what we can. I understand that Nick is not doing well and really having hard time reconciling the idea that Jesus was resurrected on the weekend his father was taken. He is a good kid that will have a tough road ahead. His other son Matt is doing OK. I have not spoken to his Dad yet but I will be at the service on Friday.

Please let them know that they are always going to be welcome at any of the OSO & the like Poker Run/Race etc. etc. events. They will have a huge extended a family for a long time to come.

Make sure you put a post up when they will be able to attend anything, and I am certain the members will fill in where & when needed.
