Those Vids brought back many memories for me.

I was not even close to the skill of DM, but I had the bunny hop, 360 and crazy jumps down pretty good. Then I took that to boats and haven't looked back since ... :)

I so wish I could do it all over again.

My knees couldn't take it any more and I was breaking too many frames and rims for the budget I had ....

Not BMX, but XC mountain bike...
Boats are not my real passion...

I race every once in a while, but I ride almost every day. In fact, I rode 25 miles to work this morning (arrived at 5:45 am). I'm currently training for the Mohican 100...100 mile mountain bike race in Ohio (11,000 feet of climbing over the 100 miles!). I sponsor a local bike shops' race team and am very involved with the local trail advocacy and maintenance organization.

My current stable of bikes:
Kona Kilauea 26" mountain bike (singlespeed)
Milwaukee Bicycle Company 29" mtb (singlespeed...steel with a rigid carbon fork...my favorite bike!)
Voodoo Soukri 29" mtb (steel with a Rock Shox SID XX fork...my race bike for the 100 miler)
Salsa Mukluk fatbike (aluminum frame, 4" TIRES!)
Trek Madone carbon road bike
Some Chinese-made carbon road bike
1970 Schwinn Twinn tandem (bar cruiser)
Rocky Mountain Solo 90 carbon road bike (wife's)
Trek 2300 aluminum/carbon road bike (wife's that she keeps in Colorado)

Last pic in the bunch is me with our local boy made good, Christian Vande Velde, current team leader of the Garmin-Barracuda ProTour cycling team. Watch for him in the Tour de France this summer (he's already got a couple top 20 finishes).

Oh...and I do my own stunts. I am the "inverted" rider in this picture...
