You can buy a 1800hp smith turbo motor and arneson drive and put the other 70k in your pocket, 140k for both and have a better package? Faster and more reliable

OK, before everyone starts going nuts over everything.
First off, I think it looks beautiful. Congrats to Gabe on his new boat! Second, It is a 43 Spectre with twin 1350's. The owner of the boat ordered it with the set up HE wanted. The price he paid is between him and Spectre. It is being dialed in and I am sure we will see some real numbers soon. People like the warranty and re-sale of Merc powered boats. If I remember correctly, this is not a light layup race boat either. I believe there is a cabin, wet bar and other pleasure boat options. |

Could this be the LONG rumored big Spectre/Frisini?
If they can sell it at $299k with 700's they might make a dent in the cat market. :party-smiley-004: |
800k sounds fair to me
1/2 of that will only buy this !! Formula 353 FasTech (2012-) Price Base Price (MSRP) $401,440.00 http://www.boattest.com/boats/boat_video.aspx?ID=2712 :lolhit: |
I believe the DW DID start the original tooling for the boat.
I DON'T believe comparing DCB's (AWESOME) 35' Lake boat to Spectre's 43' Offshore boat is ANY real comparison. Also comparing the Smith Turbo Power with the Arneson drive is not in the same realm as the Mercury 1350 package (WITH A WARRANTY in a brand new boat) |
