DANA marine rocks
 

Purchased a set of DANA marine manifolds off the OSO swop n shop for my 496 MAG HO in a true 26 Velocity. Am very pleased with the appearance and quality of the manifolds. Instillation was a snap and could be performed by anyone who can hold a wrench. The only snag was taking some bend out of the long hard oil line but hey that’s small potato’s. After instillation I noticed a very very small leak out of one of the risers. Called DANA marine and spoke directly with Mr. Dana a true enthusiast, explained I bought them 2nd hand and the problem. He just said send it and we will correct the problem for $25.00. Sent the riser ASAP with a not asking for a speedy return so I could make it out the next weekend. Judging from the call looking for a return address it was repaired before the Fed-ex man delivered it. Performed the repair for free (thank you Mr. Dana) and over knighted it back to Florida for me.
The pay off was in the performance gain, boat is up on plane in 1.5 to 2 boat lengths faster and does not have that labored feeling. The min-range punch was improved no longer did it take several seconds to build RPM, just had a good strong pull. Unfortunately the conditions were horrible so a true top end pull was not safe but she did get to 70 a lot faster. Fully expect 2 or 3 MPH. The exhaust note improved as well, can hear the baby cam lope, just a side benny

Dana manifolds make the best bang for the buck in terms of price, quality & performance.

I am very happy with them, how often can you call a company and talk to the owner, Mr Dana is very interested in feed back on his products. That showes he want to ensure his parts perform and looking to improve them if needed. We have had 3 or 4 chatts on the phone. His customer support is A-1, he will get more of my biz.
