Sanibel:
Tuesday--Dinner at Island Cow--nothing special, huge menu, acceptable prices.
Wednesday Breakfast at Jerry's--friendly staff, great food/prices.
Dinner at Mad Hatters on Captiva at Sunset--high prices, very fresh high-quality
food and exceptional staff. Great option for a special occasion.
Dessert at Pinnochio's--Sanibel Crunch Ice Cream...tasty!
Naples
Thursday Lunch at Food & Thought. LOVED THIS PLACE--Wife loved it even more. Great
extremely fresh and organic food. Very knowledgeable staff!
Dinner at Fujiama/Club Sushi--local place, great sushi, great prices.
Friday Lunch at Food & Thought...and yes, still great!
Dinner at Turtle Club at Sunset--BEST RECOMMENDATION! Thank you OSO (And yes, I
was able to get a reservation!) Awesome wine list, high quality food, and yes--a little
on the higher end of the spectrum for prices.
Saturday Breakfast at Food & Thought...yep, great breakfast there too!
Lunch at Isle of Capri--Capri Fish House. What's not to love about your feet in the sand
and water drinking a Yuengling and having fresh catch of the day (Grouper) blackened?!
Dinner downtown at Campiello Italian--great food, efficient service, decent prices.
Open air restaurant in the heart of Naples.
Nightlife--Burn cigar bar--I felt old but cool atmosphere--DJ spinning remixes of Lady
Gaga and old school Bell Biv Devoe. Mercado area is pretty cool!

Other things....went out on Naples Pier and watched all of the locals (and some homeless locals) fishing. Saw a handful of dolphins around the pier. Did the PWC rental from Tin City and checked out Port Royal and down to Keewaydin Island--wish I would have rented for 3 hours instead of 2. Saw lots of cool waterfront homes, amazing yachts, and even some pretty cool wildlife. Drove around and enjoyed all of the Bentleys, Jags, Benz, Rolls, Maseratis, Aston Martins, Ferraris...

Had a great trip and thanks to all who recommended!

If I may continue this thread. I'll be down in Bonita Springs next month for a week. I can have family tow my jet skis down there for me pretty easily (I'll be flying). Would it be worth bringing them and doing some sightseeing and exploring on the water?

Yup,

Boat ramp off Vanderbilt road, a mile or 2 to wiggins pass, and out in the gulf. Gulf is usually flat enough you can ride for hours out there.

easier to go to Lover's Key ramp. more parking which is free and its closer to FT Myers beach.

I never used Lovers key, but good info. We have a place on the beach in Bonita(not mine, the in-laws), so we are closer to use vanderbilt.

if your on hickory blvd where bonita beach ends and goes north then lovers key is closer. vanderbilt is kind of tight and during season difficult to park. shouldn't have any issues now.

plus theres more access to the bay (all 25 mph unfortunately) but atleast you can run up behind the beach if its rough out and theres a beaches to pull up onto at the 2 passes north and south of the ramp
