Thanks, Tim. With all the challenges the industry and those who support it, meaning all of you guys, face, it's a pleasure to be able to report/comment on something positive.

Yea, you nailed it - as usual. What many of us seem to forget is that sometimes boating isn't about us - the boaters. Sometimes it's more about those that have never been in a boat.

I remember a few years ago at a Poker Run where some kids with special challenges were invited down. Although they couldn't go out in the boats for a variety of reasons (damn lawyers), they did get a chance to get in a whole bunch of fast boats sitting at the docks. The looks on these kids faces as various owners let them raise and lower hatches, turn the steering wheels and do other "normal" stuff was priceless. ALtough the kids were smiling from ear to ear, there were more than a few tears from boat owners after the kids left.

So next time any of you are out enjoying our favorite hobby, think about the little things you can do to help somebody else like it too. Sometimes it's as simple as a wave to a kid at the dock!
