Chris Craft 28 Launch

Im going to look at a Chris Craft 28 Ft Launch for my father. Anyone have any experience with these? Looks nice and might suit a couple needs for him. Any opinions would be helpful. What should I be paying for one?

I don't have any exprerience with them but I do recall being shocked by the MSRPs when they first came out.
