Have you built a widened version as of yet?? I know there was an advertisement for one. Just curious.

Not yet. But we're lookin' to do one.

Although the team has widened other cats, they haven't widened a Predator Cat yet. The std hull has a beam of 8' 6". An additional 6" to 8" will push the beam well into the 9' 2"+ beam which would be iffy when trailering on highways and interstates. 8"+ widening would most probably need a tilt trailer if you're gonna be doing lots of trailering.

Any updates on the 4 seat canopy 30? When will it hit the water? Could the canopy version be widened 6in? My Motion is 9'1" wide and never had any issues with it being a wide load.

M E, thanks for the info on the wider beam and your trailering experience, def good to know. So it looks like boats approaching 9'2" can be trailered flat and not tilted.

The 4 seater canopy I have no updates yet, as I haven't been at the factory in a while. I will try to go this long holiday weekend and come back with pictures.

yes, the canopied hull can be widened any amount you want. And when the hull has been widened, the deck would be widened as well. Would look awesome when completed and I'd be curious as to what new performance numbers the wider tunnel would bring. For top-end speeds, would like to see the hull balanced with weights then send the 300XS lowers to Wilson Custom Marine:

I was just up at Predator yesterday, they are gettign ready to pull a new 30 from the mold. Pretty great looking boats.
