Gel coat scuff

I had a bad landing coming into my boat lift and made contact with a post. Does anyone have a suggestion for repair to small fiberglass crack about 3" long just above the rub rail. It is pretty deep.
Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

Tim

"for repair to small fiberglass crack about 3" long just above the rub rail. It is pretty deep"

Is it a scuff in the gel coat, or a crack in the fiberglass, or did you scuff a cack? If it is a crack might want to PM The board member GlassDave for repair info.

It is a deep scuff in gel-coat down to the fiberglass. It is not cracked all the way through.
