Where are the deals at?

Started looking at $5k boats, then to $20k cats...

Now I'm looking for a $10-20k twin engine turn key boat on a trailer within 500 miles of Jersey.

Everything I've looked at has been more then I want to take on or simply a pos. Maybe I'm an azz but I guess my idea of clean is waaay off of some others. The last "clean, turn key" one brought me a 5hr drive to see a broken trailer, shifting required standing on the shifters, dead batts, 1/3 of gauges worked, knocking engine, 1" of water on cabin floor... Etc.

Tired of wasting money and time on pointless trips.
(still contemplating Benny's cat)

A twin for > 20K? I think you would have to go pretty old for that.

Not afraid of age, but want to stay with bravos, if older then 3's

A 93 lightning on an aluminum trailer just sold in NH with 502 mags and bravos for $16k (was missing 1 motor).

Deals are out there, just need to look. Spent the last month searching with either being too late or not my style.

That's what I was thinking. It's going to be pretty tough to find a TURN KEY twin engine boat for that price.

I don't think it will be that hard, I was going to sell my perfectly running 29 t/454s/bravo fever on a trailer for 16 last summer. Only needed a gimbal ring repair but went another route.

With the economy the way it is, I believe you will be able to find the right deal for you. The problem will be hopefully it will be close to you. Have you tried looking throughout the US? I know it's a pain driving to another state to pick something up but if the right deal comes your way it might be worth it?
