Need Help....Low water pick ups on outboards
 

At the end of the day, we may be throwing away some top end because of the New Mercury 150's water pick up limits raising the engine to the optimum height. This is not the Verado version...but the 3.0 litre motor...



Does anyone have input about getting a low water pick up fitted to these engines? Step boats deliver aerated water to the engines.... and I know at fountain they plugged the top several holes to the intake.... any help is apprieciated

Or use their transom mounted pickups.
