I always seem to buy boats late in the season. Around here the BMVs send back all the boat registration stuff in October, so they can't even issue the numbers. I usually end up running until next spring with just a title and the old numbers.

i believe u have 30 days for titling and longer for documenting. thats what i am doing and i still wateing for my stuff from cost guard, going on 5 weeks and i have been out every weekend.

well weekend is over, had it out all 3 days, no issues, head over and pay my dues tomorrow after work and call my decal guy to make me up some new numbers
