Wow. I thought we were finally going to get the whole story. Instead we got "the hull is fine" and "I'm not willing to discuss that". Not really the way to stop the rumor mill.....

I would not rule out a gimbal failure. Clearly they seem very comfortable with this boat at speed.

Gimble did not fail.

Nice job, Matt.

I'd of rather heard...

There were unusual waves and wind that day, and I was beyond the boats capabilities when we rolled. However design changes have been made to increase the safety envelope. Again this is what we are testing for. R&D to produce the best boat possible.

Their answer may be the truth but how often do you ever really get the truth in the boating biz.

A mechanical error that results in this outcome with normal conditions and routine driving tells me the safety envelope is to tight for the average boater that is capable of this purchase.

Just my 2 cents.

Fast single engine boats can catch you out sometimes. This weekend 3 of the 5 SVL's spun in the Cocoa Beach race.

100 + is just to fast in a 29' boat..(in any brand) opening the door to many problems... exp from a not so experienced driver, just my personal view.

You don't recall Mr. Darr's "44" Skater??? It's the one that had the 1/4" plywood bussel...
