hmm she was running bad so we put some new parts on then dad was checking the wires, #1 did'nt have spark so he told me to pull it out and see what it looked like.. well the electrode was smashed to ****, but there was no shaving, or aluminum from the piston on it.... so a little gremlin of some sort got into #1 Tommorrow I have to pick up some head & intake gaskets and some trim pump parts then drive back up north for the day and tear it apart.. hopefully not to much damage whatever it was.. dad thinks some sort of carb screw or something got into the little might mouse...

You can the motor for the trim pump from West Marine. I don't know if they sell just the brushes though. You could also call Marc at BAM in Ft. Lauderdale and see if he has any suggestions. Hope the engine isn't hurt too bad.

Believe it or not NAPA sells most of the electrical components on the trim pumps. We had a problem with one of ours last year and found the exact part at our local NAPA parts store.
