There were 2 of them for sale in the Lake of the Ozarks this spring. I believe there were only 13 made. You might do a web search on the Ozarks. There is a page for boats forsale for that area. I understand handling and speed are great. Excellant rough water boat. Most had all leather intirior, AC, full hyd steering, and a lot of stuff that is exstra on other boats. They can usually be bought pretty reasonable, because of so few being made. Super Hawaii was only in business for 3 years.
Do a search here at OSO for pics of my 34' SH. The look alot alike. Mark |

thanx for the info and links, any ideas at all what speeds on the 40 would be with a pair of 5.9 cummins??

Not very. I'm just guessing but I think 50 would be optimistic. Diesels are just not fast and thats a huge boat. Did they put 5.9's in the 34? That would be a better setup. It would be wave crusher though.:)

I Believe the RACE boats
had SEATEK Alum. Motors with ZF Trans. Turbo Charged 6-4v-9 as I remember but it was a while ago. Last ones I Remember were in storage in Honolulu Hawaii. Mike J. |
I have a 41' Cig w/375 cat TA's, I the best I get is about 52 mph in fresh water. They are great in the rough stuf though. It is for sale as well and listed in the reasonably priced classified section.
