P/M me your email, and I'll send over a couple of pics. I made a set of covers for my props that work great. They are thick plastic garden tubs that are covered in vinyl with an elastic draw-string that pulls them down tight around the hubs. You can sit on the props if you wanted to.
I have three kids 13,11,and 7 with the SSM props the wife was really worried about someone getting cut. |
hering must be out of touch with the rest of the world...
$125 for a single prop cover....:lolhit: |
I have the Bblades propskins and they work really well.. Even when wet the zipper is big enough to zip up.. I usually trim my motors (outboards) out of the water about halfway so I can put the covers on and then just leave it like that so people are aware of them..

For the people that already use them, do you put a reminder somewhere at the helm to make sure you don't try to take off with the covers still on?

I don't, but if the covers are on there is usually other crap hanging off the back of the boat to remind me.
