REALLY???

I thought they were good boats???

Either way, I test drove a 1999 Scarab 302 with 225's...

I am in LOVE with the boat, the speed, the handling, the layout.

Only problem with this one, it had bottom paint.

So anybody that can help me find a 302 Scarab thats CLEAN without bottom paint and under $30k, let me know!

I had 3 Concepts 23, 27, 36, they are fun boats. My 36 I put
tripple 300xs on it and it was. It worth it. It only ran 74 mph
And for the extra money I should have stayed with twins,
and the 36 runs better with twins it's a light boat. I only kept it for
a year and then bought 39 NorTech super V.

What's your opinion on the 27? Did it have twins? Would it handle some chop or is it an light 25? Durable boats?

I don't know what your price range is but I would look at the Nortech. I'm about to purchase my third CC, I've looked at all and in my opinion it is by far the best. The lay out of the open but still having a large usable cabin is great. It can be a fishing machine then a full custom poker runner. You can actually sit behind the wheel comfortablly and I mean comfortablly and run the boat without feeling like you need to stand up simply because you have to see over the dash or reach to far for the throttles or the wheel, and the whole time your way protected. The seating is crazy comfortable for 12 in either the 34 or the 39. The rigging is second to none and you can tell that the person who design this CC's perfect lay out really thought it out. I really could not find anything wrong with either the 34 or the 39. Good luck, and I am one of those guys who came from performance cats that I can't see ever going back especially once I get into the Nortech CC.
