Thumbs up Center Console Sport Boats

Man guys, I'm thinking of getting a center console sport boat for a season.

I am REALLY partial to Glasstream, my uncle just bought one, REALLY nice and quick.

Glasstream is a bit out of my league right now, due to a custody battle.

So I am considering a Scarab 302, Carrera 29, or Concept 27...

Who else is out there
-Renegade
-Dakota
-Cigarette
-Spectra
-Nor-Tech
-Fountain
-Donzi

Is anybody else on here rockin a sport center console?

If so lets see some pictures!!!

I am seriously considering selling our Velocity 260 at the end of the season and looking for a CC with a cuddy up front. I am really liking the Renegade and Glasstream models as they both offer a 27-28 footer with a useable cuddy. For what we do (boating wise) it just seems like a practical move...

If your looking new, take a look at the CC Sunsation is building. It's sharp.

We have a Scarab 302 and love the boat, alot more solid than the renegade, carrera, or concept, but it is also heavier. Tops out at around 62 with 225' on it and great for the the west coast of Florida where we use it .... can't compare to the Deep Impact, CIg or Nortech but we didn't shell out 250,000 +

Before we bought or boat ( its a 2000 scarab) Ed Cozzi had surveyed it for us , but when we were looking he said to buy something at least 1994 or newer cause that was about the time builders started using better resins in the lay up and earlier boats were just susceptible to lamination problems over the years, I guess technology in the new resins were way better !!

Ditto on the Scarab 302. Last boat was a Cig Top Gun, so I was leary of such a smaller boat.

Was pleasantly surprised, boat is VERY solid and rides pretty darn good. Of course, when I bought it, it was a little plain - so I had to add some bling to it. Mine has 225 Evinrudes and will hit 62 on a good day, but 60-61 happens all the time.

Here are some decent pics of my 302:
