Actually, I'm looking at getting a utility or cargo trailer, and they have a single axle until you get into the really large ones. With all the people towing on this forum, I thought I'd get some good input. Trailer tires don't have a great reputation for staying together. Michael |
I had one blow on a car dolley. Same as a couple of others have posted, was not all over the place. Tire shredded and took off the fender and lights though.

Had a blowout on a single axle trailer, on a Spectra 18, many years ago in Barstow. Had to have the boat/trailer towed over 2hrs to my home...
Wasnt a good day, after that, had the trailer converted to a tandom, 2 axle trailer.:) |
