502 EFI Fuel issue what is this?
What is this part called? I'm new to the EFI and developed a fuel leak on the way in today, I assume a gasket or is there a issue that could have went wrong inside to cause a leak?
thanks http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/r...6171218541.jpg |

Where is it leaking from?
|
Right in the backbi assume a gasket
|
Yup, could be the cover O-ring, they get pinched once in a while.
|
Hoping thats all, what happens when i take apart is it pressurized? is there a pressure relief somewhere? or just pull apart have some rags ready?
thanks |
Just get rags ready. It is not pressurized but is full of fuel. Word of advice buy more than one of the o-rings as they don't hold shape very well. Ask me how I know.

So looks like I have to buy a kit for 90 bucks go figure, I wonder if its just the top o ring or if there is a issue that caused this

I just found a part number for the top seal ring sold by itself, 803831. About $8.75
